PREDATOR and Prey

What is PREDATOR?
Predator is an animal that feeds and hunts on other animals for food. All predators are Carnivores that feed on the meat of the animals they hunt. No matter what size the animals they hunt are they are still considered Predators.

What is Prey?
Prey is an animal that is hunted and feed on by other animals. They are the absolute opposite to Predators, they are herbivores and don't hunt. They also do not kill or hunt.

The Table of PREDATOR and Prey

PREDATOR

Picture
Piranha
- Because it feeds on a lot of fishes (angelfish), mammals, rats, snakes and drowning birds. It has more prey than predators.

Picture
Poisonous Dart Frog
- Because of it's brilliant colors it has it gives a warning to all predators of its poisonous properties, and they DO keep away.

Picture
Grasshoppers
- Because they eat a lot of other types of insects, even though they also eat plants.

Picture
Lion
- Because it is designed with sharp claws to kill. It hunts antelopes, buffalos and more mammals.

Picture
Scorpion
- Because it hunts spiders and different insects. They sometimes hunt on prey that are larger in size.

Picture
Komodo Dragons
- Because they have no other Predators in the world, they will eat anything that moves.

Prey

Picture
Tarantula
- Because a predator called the Tarantula Hawk (a huge Wasp) feeds on the Tarantula

Picture
Rabbit
- Because almost every animal that can place a rabbit into it's mouth, and eats meat is a predator of the Rabbit.

Picture
Zebra
- Because it does not feed on other animals or any meat at all so it is a Herbivore.

Picture
Barn Owl
- Because other larger birds or eagles and hawks prey on the Barn Owl.

Picture
Vole
- Because it mostly feeds on plants and berries in the meadow. The fox and the coyote hunts them for food.

Picture
Bed Bugs
- Because A larger kind of bug eats it, and I don't think bitting humans as a kind of way to kill.
